This FileMaker demo has been designed to show you one method for to detecting a link in a text field and going to that link.

Included are a couple of custom function

isLink – checks to see if there is a . : or / in the provided text and returns True if there is

formatLinks – adds blue text and underline to any links it finds in the text

getTextAtSelection – gets the text at the current cursor point between spaces.
